Installing Lexmark Z42 printer & drivers

When I install the printer drivers for my lexmark Z42 printer, I lose Internet Connection Sharing. Prior to installing the drivers, the connection was working fine. The system also freezes up intermittently after installation of the drivers. Does anyone have any idea as to what the problem might be caused by?

i'd copy your driver disk to a file you create somewhere and try to install from the file instid of the disk.

I'll try installing the driver from a location on the hard drive, but I don't see how that will help unless the disk the driver on was faulty and then you wouldn't be able to read the disk. I have the drivers downloaded from the Lexmark site so I'll burn those to disk and give that a try too, perhaps the drivers are corrupt. I'll let you know what happens.
