How do i install my scanner driver i've tried both add new device and add new hardware!! and selected it in the list and found the driver but it doesnt appear on the next screen when i try to click next it wont let me as it hasnt selected it in the prevoius screen..HELP!!!

That doesnt help, i know how to install the driver but that way isn't working? wot im saying is i cant select the driver i want in the list!! Can SUM1 HELP!!

What brand of scanner? Please post the make/model. Is it USB or does it connect to printer port?
Did you try to install the drivers from the CD? There's probably an executable file that installs everything. It may not AutoRun when you put the CD in the drive though...you may have to hunt it down & run it manually. From my experience installing scanners (5 different), I've never had to go to "Add New Hardware" in Control Panel.

Mt scanner is a TINY USB Flatbed scanner FU661E. Yeh i tried to install the driver from the cd but it wudn't select it!! Auto run i'll try that now but can u help me still??
