I would like to install the previous version of opera browser. Version 10 gets sooo slow in a day or two and I have to delete my cache and other things to get it fast again. I would like to install the previous version but when I google it all I get is version 10

Why would you think that the same thing won't happen with another browser version? As far as I'm concerned, dumping all the accumulated internet garbage is normal daily maintenance.

I don't remember having the slowdown trouble until I downloaded the update to version 10.

You could still download the USB version (9.64) and run it from your HDD:

I tried that site and I get opera 964 enzip. The 2 files in that folder when opened do not give me anything to install the browser. In google search I see many sites that say download opera 9.64 and earlier but when I click on everyone of them it says opera 10 or 10.10. I deleted opera 10 from my system . If I want opera it looks like I'll have to use version 10. I tried deleting it and reinstalling it but got the same slow down after a day.

Then you're not doing it right. For example, you have to click on Opera 9.50 to bring up the Opera 9.50 download page, then click on Download This Version 6.70MB. The download box will pop up & the file will be named Opera_950_en_setup.exe

For example:

click HERE to download Opera 9.50

click HERE to download Opera 9.60

Thanks jam. The site you gave me for 9.6 worked but I get this message before it loads.---There was a problem initializing Opera Mail.

Not possible to run old Opera version with new Opera mail files.AccountManager Init failed
Engine Init() failed--- What can I do about it? I suppose if I have a question on one of opera's forums I won't be able to send or get a reply. Is that correct? Also, do you know why version 10 slows up in a day?
