My problem is ... how to select the com port in ME? There is no choice, just only com port 1 shown. How to have com port 2, 3 ...? Thanks.
PS. another question is the modem I'm installing has drivers CD which included only *.sys XP could run it while ME just looks for *.inf solely.

Would be worth you knowing from your motherboard manual how many ports it should have, but I'd be surprised if there were less than 2.

You can also buy very cheaply a serial PCI card to add on COM ports.
