Comment:

Ever since installing FrontPage (and subsequently uninstalling it), on boot-up I've been getting the error message, "INETSW95 has caused an error in SSPIFILT.DLL. INETSW95 will now close."

Does anyone know the fix to this problem?

Thanks,

jhberry

Well.. inet is part of windows crapola~
the program probably installed abunch of stuff integrated with it.

Run norton win doctor to get rid of any left over program bits left behind by the uninstall and reboot.

Also..
In your network properties it has a screen that gives you a choice of log on or QUICK logon.( medem/ethernet adapters network props) and you can select QUICK which does NOT load the connections for the WINInet and INET.
Nobody needs these things connecting but windoze automatically sets it up that way.

NO one needs the network connections to be BOUND ( BIND-ED) to the MS network etc either.. but Bill Gates sets it up this way. Its actaully allot safer to have it UNBOUND and all you have to do is UNCHECK the box * w*

A computer is a perfectionist's nightmare.
