Comment:

I have a Dell Dimension 4100 with WinME.

The following message appeared when installation finished with IncrediMail(program offerings with 3D and animations for email, etc).
"Internet Explorer Script Error"
Line 185
Char 1
Error: Not implemented (what does this
mean)
Code 0
URL dhmled 14

After this a window appeared to welcome me into the program in Outlook EXpress. I tried several of the options...downloading different sound files and 3d animations and such..and then went to a recommended site called bestanimations.com where I tried to download a 3D Canadian Flag and NAV detected a virus...
I did not continue...but when I tried to remove the entire program of IncrediMail, an error message came up saying I could not delete Incredimail Setup..Access denied..after which everything went down hill.
Question... Should the progarm be deleted
due to original error menitoned above. What does the error message mean?Am I safe from a virus because I did not download that 3d image to the Icredimail file? Thanks..

Hi HB. How did you go about removing it?
Did you go to Control Panel - 'Add/Remove Programs' and delete from the drop-down menu? If it's there, that would be the best way to get rid. Did you create a Restore Point before running setup? If you did, all you need do is to retore from it.

Never let it be said I don't practice what I preach. Have downloaded Incredimail and installed (shame it's a time limited demo). Have then deleted as described above. All ok. As precaution created restore point in advance, but was not needed.
If NAV intercepted it, then you should have nothing to worry about. Try going to the Symantec web site to find out more about your possible virus.

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DID THAT!! WOW..
I am just blown away...it took a long time
to download all that!!! and you had no error message with installation? I didn't know it was a time-limited demo..it was recommended in Smart Computing Magazine Vol.9 Version 7 page 100. The Guide Series.
I did go to control panel Add/remove..but I tried other ways first(deleting from installation icon..)and could not...it's gone now.. would you help with the Restore Point...should I do this before each download? How... Would you give step by step.
I don't know what it is or where.. Remember, I'm hearing these terms for the first time...
Regarding the virus...I'll go to Symantec but I thought you had to have specific information about the virus in order to have the site be helpful...I didn't get any information...I was too nervous.
One last question..would you go to the original post again..and look at the initial error and my question about whether this error I received warrants removal of the program...I'm trying to understand error messages and what they mean...I'd like to have the program...and would try reinstalling if I can get that part settled.
Thank you so much for helping with this.
This site is so wonderful..
Cheers!

I have reinstalled and spent some time
with the program. I am deleting it.
Most can't receive what I send them as
it appears in the program..fun stationary
or 3d images...etc

Whenever I try to add a 3D image to the
file Incredimail has set up for this,
no matter what website it is from,
NAV warns me of a virus..

I'll check it out..thanks for your
help. HB
