InCD vs. Nero vs. Yahama Catch-22

I have a Catch-22 with InCD and Nero. I may be missing something obvious being a CD-RW novice. After formatting a Fuji CD-RW with InCD to UDF, I try to open Nero with the CD in the unit. Nero tells me it can't start with InCD accessing one of the units. If I eject the CD-RW and then restart Nero as requested, the toolbar icon will not change when the CD-RW is re-inserted. Thus I cannot burn the CD-RW. Nero is not recognizing the UDF CD-RW but InCD does without Nero running. Any suggestions? I have downloaded the latest updates. My system is Windows ME

Download last nero version, unistall nero and reboot yous system, and install again. And of course UNISTALL INCD and install CLONE CD. IN my PC I have five burn programs: Roxio easy cd creator platinum 5.02b, clone cd, cdr-win, nero burning 5.X and NTI.CD maker 2000 proffessional, without problems. But you only need nero y clone cd. Clone does not work for individual files, it's for backing up whole CD's (per cdfreaks.com) which is why I want to use UDF with InCD. Does anyone who does use both Nero and InCD have any input?

I don't have the answer to your question, but I could not get InCD to work with Nero, or was it the other way around. I finally uninstalled InCD and have not had any problems since. You can back up individual files with Nero as well as erase your CD-RW's and re-use them. Since I got rid of InCD I have not have trouble.
Good luck, I hope you get it solved.

Well, I have been using Nero (5.0 then 5.5) and InCD for some time now with no problems whatever. The point of InCD is that it allows you to use your CD-RW just like any other drive, ie simply copy files onto the CD with Explorer or other file manager. There is no need to try and run Nero while copying the files - it does one thing, InCD is trying to do another, so they are tripping over each other's bootlaces.
Summary: It depends where you are going to buy the system from. If you are going to buy it from a local vendor you can probably get an AMD system cheaper than a P3. The P3 is pretty much at the end of it's lif...
