Eversince I have repaired my
motherboard regarding a power
supply problem,I personally
feel that the quality of the
images is not upto the mark.
In system information,Display
level is given at 16 bits/pixcels.
Is this level the right level.
My motherboard is a SIS 5595 with
8 MB Agp on board.
Please suggest if it
could be a driver problem.I use
Direct 7.1 X version on WinMe

You have better color if you use 24 bits "true color".
To do that only right click in the background and choose properties in the menu.
Then you can improve the setting.
Bye!

Increasing your adapter refresh rate can also help improve your display under display properties advanced settings. Careful not to pick one your monitor can't support though.
