Was the virus CIH? If so it's probably related and you may still be infected. The restore disk may change the reg back but not clean the virus. I'd run an online scan at http://housecall.antivirus.com/ to be sure. Hope this helps...

This is pretty certain to be the virus still.

You need to get the removal tool here
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/kill_cih.html

Thank you for all ur help.
The virus effects more files than i thought (over 100 files... mostly .exe files...)
But after the scan from housecall.com... there are left over files that cannot be cleaned. They are:
no keys-
C:\PROGRAM FILES\Norton Antivirus\navapw32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\msiexec.exe
C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.exe
C:\WINDOWS\TASKMON.exe
no keys-
Are these files important?
Can i delete them so the CIH virus will be gone forever?
Or should i download other programs to clean them???
Thanx again form Jazzy

No you can't delete them, they are important integral parts of Windows or, in the case of the Norton exe, the program itself. Use the Symantec removal tool and then do another scan. If there is no way to get rid of it completely you will have to format your hard drive and reinstall everything, but the removal tool should work.
