Comment: when using internet explorer version 6.0,when downloading something from the internet,I get nothing but a square in the left hand corner of the screen which has a square, circle, and a triangle in it. How do I correct this?

Reply: (edit)Uninstall Quicktime and any other Download Managers you have installed. Then try downloading again. If that does not solve the issue, head into the registry (start>>run>>regedit). Browse to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\Extensions If there is a plus sign by that folder, click on the plus sign and take note of the names of the folders listed there. Post back with the names of the folders. Related MSKB article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q180553
