IE won't open 2nd window

I'm unable to open a 2nd window in IE. It tries to open but keeps going on and on and on and on and just wont open. Sometimes I can hit the stop button, then refresh and it will open. Most times it just goes on and on. I don't have any popup blockers on and haven't added anything new to my system.

jimb408, couple of guesses here. ME, as it came out of the box, had a lot of problems and one of the worst was failure to properly release memory after finishing using it. I STRONGLY recommend you take a look at 'Trev's Tweaks...' at: http://www.burzurq.com/forum/trevtweak.html Once I had done as suggested there, my ME settled down and became a user friendly OS. My other thought has to do with size. What if you open new windows minimized (there's a setting)? Just a SWAG. HTH. Ed in Texas.
