I am periodically getting this runtime error in IE 5.5 SP1 when I access certain web pages, but I get it every single time I go to ESPN.com. I have uninstalled IE 5.5 and the service pack but still get the error. Also, when I hit "Yes" when it asks if I wish to Debug, the dialog boix just shuts down without bringing up the Debug program screen. My system specs are as follows:
PIII 600 MMX
256 PC100 RAM
Windows ME Operating System
IE 5.5 SP1Can anyone help me?

sorry, my title got cut off. the full error message is:
A runtime error has occurred. Do you wish to debug?
Line: 1
Error: Expected ";"Thanks for any help you can offer!!!

There are errors all over the internet. Turn off your display all errors in your internet advanced settings. Or simply click on the reset Internet explorer to its original defaults. Un check the home page box unless you want MSN for your start page.!!

there are errors all over the net... whereever you go you are likely to run into them. the Debug tool you are using is generally for webmasters and programmers.
to turn it off.
start>>settings>>contorl panel
double click internet options
go to the advanced tab.
check disable script debugging... or you could just click on "restore defaults" in the bottom right.you should not run into that error again.

I have also been using Windows Me, for over 6 months and are beginning to think it was huge mistake. I have already posted a kernal32dll errror, and I also get a runtime error in my Outlook Express. What is with this program? I have a friend that fixes me up, but I am getting tired of yelling for help.
