I have a computer running Win ME. and have Internet Explorer 5.5 installed..
May problem is that when I go on the internet the page will start to load, it will continuing to load and once all the page is loaded it will come up with an error... The error I get is .. Explore has cause a error in Explorer will now close.
I can restart it is the same thing all the time.. I tryed upgrading to IE 6 but it will do the same thing but insted of giving me the error it gives me some other crap about it not working. I am so fustrated I dont know what to do.. PS I tryed surging with Netscape and it work fine 100% So it must be somthing with good old MicroCrap (Microsoft)
Collin, I know you tried the tools to fix, but do you have msn Access and if you do when you are online hit you ctrl alt delete and see if your (trayclnt is not responding)If you upgraded your Access to 5.4 or 5.6, no doubt you have that error and it caused the IE to crash sometimes, do not think its the IE6, I have been fighting with Microsoft about this, so far they have no fix for the trayclnt not loading, except they tell you to uninstall and reinstall and its still there, for those of you that have the 5.1 or 5.2 do not upgrade it, But I like the IE6, I close the trayclne (thats what they told me to do) and works fine, just when you close, it does not disconnect you, you have to do it manually. Sue, I have been having the same problems with IE6 and have reverted back to IE 5.5 to try to fix it. I do use MS Access97 while online but cannot find trayclnt when I press alt-ctrl-del. Does the problem you were talking about effect IE6 only?
