An item was placed (without my permission) on the right-click context menu in IE. How can I remove it?

Calliandra,
To make the change, Open your registry with Regedit and navigate to the following key.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt

Delete the key that you don't want. Before editing your registry, you should always first back it up.

Best wishes, war17

Hi War17 --
Thanks for your reply. I went into the registry and got as far as the items under Internet Explorer, but there is no "MenuExt".
Might it be under some other name?

Caliandra

wawadave,

Or, Start| Run| type; sendto and Click OK or Press Enter

Just a little bit quicker :)

Calliandra,

What is it you want to remove? Are you talking about when you right-click a link, image, or the page itself.

When I right-click a page in IE, there is a shortacut to a webpage inserted on the context menu between "refresh/print" and "encoding".
