ie 6.0,restore,startup screen

Accidentally uninstalled ie 6.0.Then tried to restore but half way through restore get message can't restore to that date, tried next date, tried next date,nothing.Last two times in safe mode.So downloaded 6.0 SP1 after restarting. Tried to install,will not completely install.Restarted,does not show windows startup screen,but starts with Normal,Step by step etc options.Was trying the 30205 suggestion but there is no uninstall information folder in C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer/Uninstall Information on my windows explorer.Please help.

Resolved IE 6.0 sp1 with the 30205 post,after doing this the install completed just fine.Had to go this path C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer>tools>folder option>view>tick show hidden files before uninstall information could be selected.Thanks
