In folders like My Documents and My Computer and such and all subfolders, every now and then (mostly in folders I haven't visited in a week or so) the icons will default from Large Icons view to the Small Icons view. I have already tried the setting the options and closing while holding down CTRL as well as the Folder options setting to Like Current Folder yet they keep changing and I can't find anything on how to stop this from happening. Other Windows ME computers I have used have never had this problem. I have no spyware or viruses present. Thanks,

Welcome to the peculiarities that ME throws up from time to time. Used to do that with me all the time, usually when the drive was getting full, god knows why. And it is very annoying over a period of time. There isn't a way round it, or I never found a way round it. It's just one of those little ME quirks you either live with or don't.

When will people stop expecting features to work? :) I gave up and just built it into myself to right click and choose a view every time i opened a folder. Vista home premium has something odd going on also. My quicklaunch and desktop icons get moved around every other day.
