Comment:

Recently upgraded graphics card to a ATI Radion AGP 64MB DDR.
Although it appears to be working OK the windows icon colours appear blurred and all the colours seem wrong when in 32bit mode but seen better in 16 bit

I am running Me 1.2 AMD 512ram 40mb hd on a Abit KT7-Raid board.

might help. Right click the desktop...click properties...click "Effects" Tab then check to see if "Smooth edges of screen fonts" and "Show icons using all possible colors" are checked also have you installed the latest drivers for the card from their website. The version of DirectX you run also makes a difference as to what drivers you use and will work right.
and a personal thought good choice on the Mobo :-)
