I need help!! I'm trying to open a doc. and I keep getting either one of two errors, depending on if I'm using works or wordpad. Which is... (wkswp) or (wordpad) has caused an error in mswrd832.cnv (wkswp) or (wordpad) will now close. Then it says if you keep experiencing this problem try restarting. I've tried downloading converters and so on, I guess I haven't found the right one. My comp came with Windows ME installed, so I don't have a disk that I can put in to fix this. It would be way cool if someone could help. Thanx D

Hi Dradical, hello everyone,
It appears the file was created using Microsoft Word 2000 which WordPad will not be able to open unless it was saved in a Rich Text Format. If the person can save the file in a Rich Text Format you should be able to open it.

Sorry, I guess I should also add that I have tried to install the viewer, which did not fix the problem. The version I have is Microsoft works word processor 2000. Thanxs, D
