i have KaZaA media player and i downloaded a movie today ( i have cable ) and i go to play it and it plays the music and sound but no picture!! :( please someone help me!!

what are you trying to play it with?Try all your media players & download another movie & try again - some files on kazaa are corrupted ( not in an evil way - they just won't work! )if the movie is a mpeg or avi it should be a piece o' cake

It might be a DiVX encoded .avi, in which case you'll need to download and install the DiVX codec. Do a google search for 'divx codec', you should find what you need in the first few sites listed.

If the movie screen is gray, try going to the properties of the movie (if you're using "Media Player" right click the movie screen while it's playing and click on properties. Look for Mpeg4 or video properties or something like it and click on it. In the next screen move the slider for Quality to 4 and move the other sliders (brightness, contrast, hue etc) to halfway. You should now be able to see the movie. If not, do as suggested above and search for an updated codec. Some movies are encoded with hack codecs such as AngelPotion and SmR. These codecs should be floating around the net somewhere.

I have kazaa media player and I have the same god damn problem. What the @#$@$! I spent a lot of time downloading this piece of s--- and it doesn't work. The movie ppl must be laughing at us intenet geeks.. This was too good to be true.

ya well i just downloaded kazaa and the movie i downloaded was a .avi file...i cant even watch the goddamn movie! what the hell!
