Reply: (edit)Do you have Windows Me Startup Disk? When you install ME the setup requires you to make one. Put it in. Then when you get to DOS and there will be 1 options. Key down to Minial Boot and press enter. Then type scanreg/restore then you are at the SCANREG you wanted. If you don't have Windows Me Startup Disk, try this: Force ur computer to shut off by pressing the start button or restart button when it's about to start. then after few tries, you get to the screen where the windows Me Startup disk leads you. this method is when you don't have any Windows ME startup disk. Others might have other siggestions Remember this is only my siggestion.

Reply: (edit)Hey ty for all of the help. I got it in DOS but now it won't scan. I tried scanning it and it just doesn't do it. It just stops w/o any action. I tried scanreg /fix and scanreg /restore. I also tried to scandisk and it said it couldnt because there was a FAT disc error. I'm so confused. Ty for your time and support.
