I can't open any of my programs through the start menu or through any icons on desk top...?? I believe this is because of a missing .dll file. does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?? is there a specific .dll file that needs to be replaced..??

If you think it is just a dll file missing, you could try to reinstall ME overtop to fill in the blanks, but sounds like a virus to me. Try AVP.com and scan your system

I had the virus and norton said that all the files that could be quarantined were or the others that could not be quarentined were deleted.....thats the problem.....i think the deleted files were 2 .dll files....o..and i tried that avp.com..it just says this file is in use by another program?? the other error messeges i am getting are "Windows can not find c:program files\phtodeluxe HE 3.1\pd3.exe . You may have typed the name incorrectly in run dialog or another program cannot find the system file, to search for a file click the start button then search." and any other programs do the same error just with that programs command line. do think insalling me over it would fix this as noted above..and if that is possable i dont want to lose any saved info and data on my hard disk and i dont want to have to reinstall programs is there a way to do this with out going through all that...?? what kind of install would i have to do to occomplish this..??

I tried the http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/FixSirc.com program for virus removal, it worked. It appears that the virus moved replaced a dll file.
