Comment: I use IE6.0 and my HTML and HTM file icons are like unknown file type, but i can access the files normaly with IE. I tried to changed them, but nothing changed, and if i delete html file type, then change it`s icon IE warns that it`s not the default browser. What to do?

Reply: (edit)Couple of questions.. 1. Do you have another browser installed? Netscape? Opera? 2. Is this everywhere or just on your desktop? If it is everywhere try this: Click once on an HTML file to select it. Hold down the shift key and right click on the file. You should get an option "Opens With" Choose Open with. Highlight Internet Explorer. Put a check in Always use this program to open this application. Click ok. Does that remedy the situation?
