I want to know if it is possible to turn off the "HP blah blah blah....." screen that first comes up when you first turn on your system. I would appreciate an email answer if possible.

you cannot remove that HP startup screen it is burned into your BIOS. Dell IBM and many other company do that. However if u format and re-install windows you can remove all of HP 's garbage inside of windows. DON"T BUY PRE-BUILT COMPUTERS!!
