hp printer won't print

got gateway w/ me, got hp 2100 all in one installed, installs fine the first time, but i go to print test page it prints then printer in sys tray pops up and says disconnected, but i haven't unplugged it or turned it off. so i uninstall software and reinstall, this time everything is ok except it finds the printer and its not plugged up. what in the world? i guess b/c i didn't delete the printer in the printers folder? any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried reinstalling the Drivers?
Or find updated drivers from www.hp.com
Just type in the name of the printer and it should have updated drivers.
If you don't see Luigi don't look for him.

joshbrinkley, SWAG, sounds to me like your machine isn't sure about the printer you wish to use. If it were me, think I would delete everthing to do with printers (except the new driver), reboot and let Windows find the printer, then go from there. HTH. Ed in Texas.
