Hi, I am trying to install an HP Officejet v40 to an IBM netvista through USB. I originally installed it but tried to load the software for fax functioning, but it did not work. Now Im getting a blue screen with vserver (01) + 00007e6b error:0e:0028:c152ae6b error....this happens when it finds the hardware. It will install it then it will continue to find new hardware then go to a blue screen. I have tried deleting the printer and software, even taking every instance of it out of the registry, but to no avail. Ive heard of this problem before, has anyone had any luck with Win Me and HP USB printers? Thanks

Hi stephenippolito.
Are you using the correct USB cable? The HP Officejet 40V needs the USB 1.0 or USB 1.1 cable. If you accidently bought a USB 2.0 cable that could be the problem.
