Is this your site? If so you can just change all the links on all yoru pages to local names instead of the full path and browse all your pages in a folder. Build the seame directory structure on your HD.

Example:
/directoryname/filename.jpg

Instead of

http://www.whatever.com/directoryname/filename.jpg

If your asking for someone elses site like computing.net for example... You can save the whole site with this :
http://www.spidersoft.com/

I dont think it will recognize/locate/download the offsite links that exist on this site. I could imagine a couple gigs of files if it tried to do that. You could be looking at downloading a small section of the internet. Imagine trying to save yahoo.com? Its nothing but pages of links to other sites that contain links to other sites etc. etc.

What site do you want? Some webmasters provide cd's with the entire site on them for offline viewing.

"hope to keep it online until the end of 2005"

It seems as if they will leave the site online.. just not making any changes or updating anything.

If your interested in the information at this site.. why not contact the webmaster.. ask them for a copy of the site on CD..

If you want the entire site you need to use a program like Black Widow or that other one that I can't remember the name of. The offline thing in Explorer was never meant for saving whole sites, and it does not convert the links for you.

Just a thought. Have you tried to use the Offline Favorite Wizard?

Choose Favorites >> Add to Favorites

Choose(check) Make Available Offline Click the Customize(button) Click the Next(button)

Hopefully at this point should be self explanatory. I've never used this so, your guess is as good as mine if it works. Also, keep in mind this could be very large in size and it maybe copy writed. Hope that helped a little :)
