I have 2 modems 56k. Can I use both of them to connect online so I get a faster connection? and how? Thanks

It doesn't work that way. If you want a faster connection speed you will need to check the availability of DSL or Cable in your area. If they are not available, you can always go wireless.

I know that doubling-up can be done, but unfortunately I can't give you any info on how. I do know that you need 2 individual phone lines to do it though.

My Amquest 56K PCI modem came with software that would allow dual modem usage, but I don't recall the name of the software, nor do I recall if it required any specific hardware support.
Try searching thru Google & see what ya come up with. If I can remember the name of the software that was packaged with my modem, I'll post it for ya.
