How to open .hlp file

I tried to open .hlp file with every text document program that I could think of (Notepad, Wordpad, Word) but all of them give me this garbled messages. Can you help?

G'day Macca, open a .hlp file with C:\windows\Winhlp32.exe, that should 'av been the default when you installed.
