The best i can do is this... start/settings/control panel/power options in the power buttons feild... in the drop down box select standby. this will allow you to put your computer on standby by pressing your power button. Not sure if you can do hibernate from a shortcut in windows ME. If you do figure it out you Might want to check this file out to see if anything is holding you back from hibernate. start/search/for files or folders type in "nohiber.txt" look for a message like "Hibernation disabled because hibernate is not supported by the audio driver- riptide.vxd,vwstream.vxd."
