Comment: I have an account with Ebay and the current email address I am using with it is going to be disconnected soon. I was wondering if anyone knows any email accounts that ebay will accept so I don't keep getting this stupid credit card thing. I don't have a credit card and I have had this account of mine for two years now. Now I have to change the email address and I can't because of the stupid credit card thingy.

Reply: (edit)Im an ebay user. when i first signed up they would not allow hotmail email address's without being verified(credit card). I assume they wont accept any free webbased email address's. I was however able to use my isp email account to join. earthlink. After 10 feedback points i was then able to change my email address to a hotmail account. Its been a while and things may have changed so im not sure if this will solve your problem.

Reply: (edit)Hi daniel, you can do either of these things! Create a Seller's Account: Provide a valid credit/debit card and bank account information. You can also automatically sign up to accept credit cards or electronic checks through eBay Payments by Billpoint! Or Establish your proof of identity with ID Verify. ID Verify uses a third party to verify the information you provide for accuracy. You can get ID Verified without putting your credit card on file.

Reply: (edit)most banks will give you a debit card, which is an atm card that you can use as a visa or mastercard, too. you do need to have a checking account. all purchases made with the card have to come out of a checking account. there is no credit application necessary. you can usually get them by request. there is also no age requirement before you can get the card or checking account, except those that may be set by the bank. call around and see what's required by your local banks, or even look up internet based banks.
