How to disable Firewall...

Depends on which one you are using. One way to take it off and get out of memory is to 'End Task' via Ctrl/Alt/Delete. Then re-activate it via Start/Programs. Another way is to bring it up via the taskbar and choose the options there--doesn't always remove it from memory though doing it this way.

Remi, it depends on which one you use. I use Zone Alarm and can disable it by right clicking the icon in the tooltray and choosing the option. Maybe yours is similar? If that doesn't work, post back and describe the proggie, amt. memory, etc. HTH. Ed in Texas.
