I think this is the problem that must be resolved. One of my friends give me this piece of advice.He told me to change to this 2 devices to the following IRQ. IRQ 11 Creative SB Live! series--- > IRQ 5 3D Prophet II GTS/GTS Pro---> IRQ 10 Can u teach me how to change my IRQ? i have just move my creative card from PCI slot 4 to 5,while i remove my 56k modem(never been used)from 5.Now the IRQ has become like this... I may be wrong (been known to happen from time to time), but what you may have to do is remove all hardware in the slots with the exception of your Video card. Make sure that they are removed from the manager. Then install each peice of hardware seperately, rebooting after each install. See if that works.   HopeThisHelps,    -me-

Just moving the card from one slot to another will usually do the job. Is the Creative SB16 Emulation on IRQ 5 on-board sound? If it is, you should delete its drivers and get into BIOS setup (reboot required - press DEL or whatever key is called for during the first screen) and disable on-board sound.
