Subject: How to adjust receiver buffer
OS: Windows ME
CPU/Ram: Intel Cel. 800Mhz/512
Model/Manufacturer: Compaq Presario/5008US
Comment:
I need to know how to increase the receiver buffer size, I'm using broadband now and when I watch a streaming video I really have a problem. From all I can learn about it, it appears the receiver buffer is set to dial-up default. How do I can this and even though I can follow directions, I'm pretty simple, so please keep it simple. Thanks, appreciate it.

i would think the 800 mhz cpu would be the
problem with streaming video. i have an 800
mhz linux machine, it will stream, but not
as smooth as my 3 gigahertz machine

If there is an alternative player on the websites try that, or maybe even select a dial-up option on there.
