Ok I tried using The "Sys" command to make a HD bootable with a windows me Bootdisk and it tells me "blah..blah..blah...Please use Setup to make this drive bootable" What? I dont get it, I need to make this drive bootable before installing it in another machine, basically a web terminal with no CDROM, Floppy, ETC. Is it just my bootdisk? All I need to do Is get it to a C: prompt. What am I doing wrong??

I attempted that with a WinME bootdisk and it gave me an error, I found out my problem. In the WIndows ME FAQ at www.seagate.com it says:
"WinMe no longer offers an option to copy system files and make the drive bootable. Use the following procedures for making a drive bootable."
Using the SETUP command contained on the Distribution CD is the only way to make a bootable hard drive with WinMe. Although the WinMe Startup Disk still includes the FORMAT and SYS commands, you will receive the following notices when trying to use FORMAT C: /S or SYS C: "Microsoft Windows no longer supports the FORMAT /s command" or "Cannot find the system files in the standard locations on drive c:. SYS can only be used on drive c: to attempt repair of an already existing installation of Windows. Use Windows SETUP (Distribution CD) to make drive c: bootable".I did however, find a reference on Paul Thurotts WinME site saying that invoking setup with the /nostart switch gives you a bootable C: prompt. Thanks for the reply!
