Just go into Windows Explorer, right click on it and then click rename.

hehe...you'll have problems if you just do that. You'll have to change all your registry entries and shortcuts to reflect the change, otherwise, many programs won't run.

¡§7.Once Windows has been installed, and after you have created and formated a second physical or logical drive, do the following things, in order.
„h Use Microsoft's TweakUI v1.33 and change the name of the c:\Programs File folder to eight letters or less and move it off the root partition to another drive, (for example D:\Apps). Be sure to also move the c:\Common Program Files subfolder of Program Files as well. This will make your operating system partition much smaller and keep most of your data segregated from any Windows crash.¡¨

Is it possible in Windows ME?
Thanks

This should do the trick :)
Set the value of "Attributes" in the appropriate key below to "70 01 00 20", you will then be able to rename and/or delete any special folders by right-clicking them.

Recycle Bin
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\ShellFolder]

Search the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID] key for any other folders you want to modify.

Registry Settings:
Value Name: Attributes
Data Type: REG_BINARY (Binary Value)
Data: (70 01 00 20=enable, 40 01 00 20=default)
