How do I read e-mails on CDRW

I freed some mich-needed C drive space by copying all my "sent" folder messages in Outlook Express to a CDRW disc (H drive). I then deleted the "sent" messages on my C:drive which gave me the extra disc space I wanted. However, even though I've copied the Outlook Express programme onto CDRW, too, when I click on my "sent" messsages folder on the CDRW, it appears to open up the C Drive Outlook Express programme including the empty "sent" folder rather than displaying the "sent" messages that have been moved to CDRW. How do I read the "sent" messages that now only exist on the CDRW disc without having to copy them back onto the C drive? Please could you e-mail me if you can help with this

jason andrew, can you read other CD's you've made? The same proggie that reads them should read your "sent mail" files on CD. (apples vs. oranges). Not necessarily Outlook Express. OE takes you to the mail handler proggie, not CD. HTH. Ed in Texas.

My thanks to the two people who responded to my query but I'm afraid I have not been able to resolve the problem I have. Also, I am mystified as to why Windows Explorer indicates that I still have X amount of megabytes taken up by my "sent" file when I deleted everything in the "sent" file. This is depsite the fact that "My Computer" shows that I now have that same extra amount of free space on my C drive.
