How do i get rid of an mbr boot sector type virus?

I have tried many crap programs to try to remove an "alleged" boot sector type virusfrom my MBR, that my computer's "Trend anti virus" program keeps picking up. I think it maybe that it thinks my Dual boot mbr program, bootit direct is a virus(but its not. If this is the case how do i disable, uninstall trend antivirus built in program, i think its in the cmos- bios setup but i monkey around in there and nothing changed. (it says boot sector type virus found and haults win98 startup.) u press r to restart or c to continue loading just fine. help?

boot from any ebd and fdisk /mbr

If you are sure it is not a virus go into the CMOS and find the peice that refers to Trend virus and disable it, should solve the problem
