I want to backup my Registry to disk. When I select SYSBCKUP and "send to" I get a dialog box that says "Access denied". So how do I gain access so that my backup can be made?

Go to start>click run>type "regedit" without the quotes>click okay>file menu>export registry file, give it a name and keep the .reg extension and save it to a folder of your creation (backups?) and use your burner program to make a data CD and put it on there.
Never used SYSBCKUP, so this may not be what you want?

Loading an old registry from this "disk" will not be of much use, since the environment you are loading it to, will now be different than what is represented by the registry.
