Comment: How can I reinstall my Recycle bin after QuickClean Lite in McAfee VirusScan killed mine? Nothing will show up in it any more and McAfee technical help aren't. System restore doesn't work... If anyone could tell me how to reinstall recycle bin and leave the rest of my programs alone I'd be greatly happy... Thanks.

Reply: (edit)Not sure why you think it needs reinstalling, but restart to DOS and enter Deltree c:\Recycled Respond Y after confirming the folder is correct Restart to Windows and the bin will be recreated.

1.type c: press enter
2.Type attrib -s -h recycled. 3.Type del recycled. 4.Restart the computer
windows by default will recreate the recycle
bin, according to microsoft.

You need to boot to your bootdisk and enter c:\windows\command\deltree c:\recycled The rest is the same.
