how can I disable a built in sound board

I have been wondering how can i disable this built in sound card, since I am planning to buy a better one. I just dont know how to disable it.. I hope you guys can help me thanks

Most BIOS will have the option to disable onboard Card. You can also disable it in it's properties window in Device Manager.

you'll want to disable it in the bios
if you just disable it in windows it can cause conflicts still.
