I had to reformat the hard drive and reinstall my operating system. All went fine but now I get this error message:
An exception OE has occured at 0028:C006115D in V*D VNETBIOS(01)+ 00000B8D. Called from 0028:C023F58B in V*D VMM(OC)+ 0000058B. It may be possible to continue normally.
Can someone help me understand what this is referring to? And how to fix it?I am also having a strange problem with internet explorer where the mouse turns into an hour glass constantly when no apparent action is taking place. This is beginning to cause concern.
Can someone please advise?

Both of these links look pretty close. The first one links to the second one.
Those goofy error messages are a nightmare. Im sure someone knows what all that gobbledy gook means but its a mystery to me. A tip on finding information is to search google for bits of it and pray for a hit. As an example i first searched for 0028:C006115D and got no hits. Then i searched for 0028:C023F58B and found the first link.
The usual hits are from another message board where someone else already asked this question and had it answered.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck with any future blue screens :).

Thanks so much for your help. I'm so glad I don't have to look at that blue screen anymore. And any day that I don't have to is a good day! :) Thanks
