All of a sudden out of the blue I cannot access my hotmail. After typing in my email address and password and clicking on " sign in" I get the "cannot find page" message. I have reset my web settings and every other thing I can think of but to avail. There are two other hotmail accounts besides mine and the same thing occurs with them. Is there some problem that would lock you out of hotmail? This happened in a matter of hours. Can anyone offer any help?

Hi Jim
Yes Hotmail is a huge problem and I have been experiencing that problem for about 8 months. I have sent numerous emails to their Help section but all I get is the usual guff about resubmitting password yada yada yada.
Fortunately, I still can access my hotmail as I have Messenger which places a small man type icon on the bottom right near the clock and I have the startup menu so configured that Messenger starts up when I boot up. From there I can access it 99% of the time. If I try any other way it is a no go.
Hope it helps.
Regards

Jim

Good Luck

Try reseting your password & if that does not
help try accessing your hotmail account on an
other computer. You will find your problem

I know you can have that problem with Internet Explorer if cookies are blocked, so you might want to check the settings in Tools--Internet Options--Privacy.
One interesting thing is that the Opera browser never seems to have any problem accessing Hotmail.

I just had this problem myself and fixed it by having to adjust my firewall to allow these cookies, etc. I had this fixed in my IE, but my firweall was hanging it up.
It did this all of the sudden. I made no changes yet hotmail and MSN groups woile not let me sign in at all.

Empty your C:\Windows\Temporary Internet Files folder, to delete your cookies.
Might be a corrupt Hotmail cookie.

I have the same problem with hotmail, I can access my account from another computer but not from mine. If anyone can help me I will appretiate it.
