I have a home network connecting two computers with Win ME, one with Win 98SE, and my laptop with XP. These are connected with a router. My primary computer is connected to a cable modem, which feeds through to the other computers.
If I have Norton SystemWorks on my primary computer, are all computers on the network protected against viruses? Previously, I have purchased Norton SystemWorks for each computer, but this seems unnecessary--not to mention expensive--since they are all on the same network.

I purchased one disk and put it on all of my networked computers. Updates work fine. You do not need to install system works on the XP computer though. XP can already do alot of the task system works does. I would only install the antivirus on the XP machine.
Good Luck.
