hi all when i go into control panel internet options click on clear history nothing budges any reson why this is or how do i get rid of the history i visited

or go into c:windows/history
and c:windows/temp int files
then clik edit then select all then clik delete

If you are trying to delete sensitive info about your surf history, it's still stored in the index.dat files. Deleting the Temp Int Files etc does nothing to this spying little bug.
A free program that shows you what is stored here is SPIDER.....
http://www.fsm.nl/wardWith Win98, the above program also clears this stored history but with my Win ME, it does not work properly. It shows you what is stored perfectly though.
To clear it, I use the also free program DELINDEX.BAT from......
www.burzurq.com/forum/delindex.htmlUse Spider for a 'before and after' Delindex run. Delindex can also delete your stored user name and passwords etc so you will have to make a note of these before using it.
You will also require a start up (boot) disk for delindex.

I use Spider on a Win Me machine and it DOES clear everything BUT you may have to run the program over and over; as many as 4 times to get everything cleared. Sometimes it works running the proggie once but most times it will take 2 or 3 times.
