I wrote in before about my mouse prblem but nobody has found a solution for it so im writing in again ...
The mouse pointer keeps flashing, from a normal pointer to a working in background pointer (A Pointer with a hourglass next to it) It works fine when i do not have my computer connected to a network.
Thing which i have tried:
Norton AntiVirus 2003
cleaning histories + other junk with delindex
Variouse Anti Trojan and Spyware software
Reinstalling Drivers
Updating DriversThis mouse is a really nice optical mouse and i do not want to by anouter on SO PLEASE COULD YOU HELP ME, is this problam unfixable?

I am assuming that you have checked all the settings in the control panel>mouse, and tried the trouble shooting steps too. Have you tried another mouse? What happens when you use another mouse?

This problem is not with your mouse. It has something to do with a program thats running on your comptuer. You say it only happens when your connected to a network. Is your HD being accessed at the same time? Do you have problems connnecting to the netowkr that would cause something to lock up making the hourglass continue to spin? DOes your computer operate fine other than the cursor changing to the hour glass?

no, scandisc or defrag will not complete even off the network. If i remove everyting out of startup using msconfig when it is NOT on the network it will start doing it then aswell. But besides that it will only start doin it when itis not on the network. Puting a different mouse on does not help.
