Ain't gonna happen....nothing like that exists, or is ever likely to. If you can afford Maya and/or have a reason to use it you should be running NT/2000 anyway.

There ARE some multi ware products, one is this>>

http://www.vmware.com/news/releases/ws3.html

While not really an emulator it will allow multiple O/S's of pretty much any type(Linux, DOS Windows etc etc) on one pc w/o rebooting.
Still need the software tho

You can use VMWARE within Windows... but there isn't much of a point of doing so here.

Once you install VMWARE, you still have to have the software to install the OS you need... and then VMWARE slows things down terribly. I have enough problems trying to get it to emulate Windows 98 on a Linux box and still be stable enough to play a game or two... I couldn't imagine trying to run Win2k through it. My God!!!

VMWARE is wonderful stuff... but I would say it still has quite a bit to go before it truly emulates to the point of everyday usability.

jamar - Beg Borrow or Steal a 2k disk and dual boot with whatever OS you are using now. You may need a partition manager (Ranish, Partition Magic) to carve out enough disk space for Windows 2000 to install and run properly if you do not want to lose everything you have on your hard disk now and you do not have another partition to install it to.
