TY!!!! IF REPLY?

hello
try useing xxcopy for free or norton ghost to clone your drive.
you might fined ghost in kazaa lite or i-mesh.i,m not familure with drive copy 4.0 so cant help you there.might be with drive copy
you need to format and partion the drive first with ghost you dont need to .

Usually, at the site of the mfg of the hard drive, they have a program that will copy all, or instruct you how, don't know the make of yours but if its Western Digital they have a program free to do that but that should have came on a floppy disk with the instructions with your hard drive..

Do you have the connectors available to put both drives in the machine?
If so, I'd do this: Install your new drive as a Secondary Master, leave the OS on your old drive and move your data ONLY to the new drive.
If you don't have room in the machine for both drives, use your new drive as the Primary Master, reinstall the OS on it, create a second partition for your data, unhook your CD Rom, connect the old drive as a Seconday Master, and copy the data to your new drive's second partition.

Thank you guy`s 4 the help! But now I have new prob....? I just got nortons ghost and copyed every thing from C: 2 D:. Now how do I get pc to boot 2 D: and turn D: into C: and get ridde of old C:So I then can put newwer HD in D: slot.ty! if reply!!!!!
