Yes, I had that same problem. Come to find out it was a virus that was attacking all NT/2000 servers. It pings systems looking for that opening on those systems. ME has nothing to worring about so far. I was getting over 500 hits a day but they've slowed down lately to about 15 to 20 a day. If you've set up ZA to run stealth you're safe. Good luck.

jimbo, You have a static IP correct? who knows why your the target. Maybe some webmaster at a warez site didnt like a post you made or maybe its dumb luck. I cant believe that your isp hasnt given you a new IP to stop this. Your isp is responsible for this. Stop payment till they resolve this issue.

SSDD (same s*** different day). Just keep ZA running in stealth mode and carry on. Might be a 'script kiddie', virus, porn site....who cares? So long as they can't see you!(Good ole ZA hehehe)

I had that problem once.I was getting 40-60 hits an HOUR,all on different ports!!I traced the ip back as far as it would go and then E-mailed the ISP from whence it(that IP) came.Although they wernt very nice and said they could do nothing about it,like magic it stopped within a few hrs..
imagine that

not suprised to hear your getting so many probes using "AOL" get a real isp.
Also get "black ice defender" firewall it will tell what all the port probes are.

black ice is not a firewall but an intrusion detection application :)

I tried BlackIce defender and found it crap!...Norton Firewall is a much more informative option to use. BlackIce I had didnt even pick up port scans!!

Most likely what you are seeing is background traffic. You can check to see who is is attemting to scan you by going to the web site Sam Snead. I can't remember the exact url but typing the name of the site in Yahoo will give it to you.
Once you register, you can copy the ip address and pasting it into one of the many tools the site offers. They even give you a lesson on ip addresses and how to decipher them. You will find that many of your scans are from your own IsP. Others will be from web sites you visit and a lot are just regular background traffic. In any case, as was stated before, you are protected any way so it is a pretty moot point. There is no reason to worry about a failed attempt to scan you, only the ones that succeed. :-)
Have fun.
