Click the green link titled "bootdisk" where you see the name w0rm.
When you get to w0rms page download the setup.exe for windows me "WINME.EXE" bootdisk to your desktop. Insert a blank floppy and double click the exe you downloaded. This should give you a working windows me boot disk.

Hi carlos,
A little while ago I was having the same problem, somebody from this forum answered me as follows:Snap, here's what has worked for me everytime, and flawlessly. ME isn't as bad as people claim. I get it to work perfect everytime.
I'm sending you an executable that will make an awesome boot disk, with DELPART and even a mouse driver. Just run it in any working PC, it'll ask you for a floppy to make the Boot Disk.
Then set your other PC (the one you want ME on) bios to start: 1st - Floppy, 2nd - CDrom, 3rd - HD.
Then boot with the floppy I helped you make. After you run the fdisk and set the active partition, reboot. After you run format, reboot. Very, very important.
The floppy will put in CD-rom drivers and will tell you which drive is your CD-rom, the letter D:, E: or whatever.
Then pop in the ME CD in your CD-rom drive (let say E:).
Type this at the A:\>E:\setup
It will take you from there. If you have any PCI/ISA card like SCSI and such, you may want to remove them before installation. In fact, to keep it simple, you may want to remove all but the Video Card and run setup. Once the OS is up and running, power off the PC, put in the cards one by one, and reboot, let it have the drivers, and move on to the next PCI/ISA card. You wouldn't normally do this, but since you've been having setup freeze on you, you may wanna try it.
Also, this is very important. Before you install any additional programs, PLEASE make sure you go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and get all the Critical Updates and Patches for ME.
I've done ME installations 5 times in the last 2 months and my customers are all happy and satisfied with their ME I installed.
I've read your help to other people before and I know you know your stuff. But I went through all this just in case.
Let me know how it all works out for ya.
Regards,
Kaz ManukyanIf you would like the disk provide your e-mail and I will forward it to you, it worked great.
