i have recently bought a new hard drive, but i can't seem to get it to work. Well it workied once, but when i was installing windows, it said windows proterction error, my registry is lost, and it found bad clusters on hdd, when i do a scandisk it freezes at point when starting surface scan, and fdisk it freezes too, how do i go about fixing this, and wot is the best way to set it up correctly

if you found bad clusters exchange the hard drive within waranty, dont try to fix it
